What is Solar Photovoltaic (PV)?
Solar PV is a system that uses photovoltaic solar panels to capture and convert sunlight into electricity.
A commercial scale renewable system is one of the most recognisable ways to enhance your company’s green credentials as well as reducing your electricity bills.
Our experienced designers and installation engineers work to provide a professional service that fits around your needs as a business. Our service covers all aspects of the commercial Solar PV design, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance.
Highadmit Projects prides itself on providing quality products and installations with an aim to help increase energy output. We are a fully MCS certified company and a Solaredge accredited partner.
Our core business is Building Services, the design of Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) engineering services within buildings.
We at Highadmit pride ourselves on our reputation as a customer focused organisation, committed to efficient, high quality, innovative design, backed up with strong delivery which underpins our ability to create long-standing relationships with our large number of clients.
From our new Talbot Green base, we offer a full design, install & commission MEP service across a wide range of sectors including Education, Retail, Healthcare, Industrial, Commercial & Residential projects across the country.
Highadmit Projects utilise the latest Building Information Modelling (BIM) software to create 3D designs ensuring a fully co-ordinated building design offering efficiency and reliability, as well as traditional 2D AutoCAD.
What is BIM?
BIM is a software platform that allows you to integrate all elements of a building’s construction into one drawing or file. Each service element is then layered on top of the last providing clash detection and full co-ordination throughout the design phases. In addition to this, designers and construction teams are also able to co-ordinate site services during design and construction phases via accurate 3D modelling of the site. Individual phases and elements of the design can then be auto-scheduled or specifically sectioned out in the drawings. This will improve project timescales and is planned to reduce downtime on site.
As BIM is a collaborative platform offering real-time access to all disciplines in construction, each discipline can contribute their inputs within the digital models which can be further used for decision making during the design process and fabricators and sub-contractors can use this information during the construction stage.
Building Information Modelling (BIM)
Since 2015 we have delivered BIM level 2 compliant PAS 1192 (BS EN 19650) designs.
Here at Highadmit Projects, we understand the significance of these digital assets and make sure that we work closely with all stakeholders and design disciplines throughout the design and development stage.
BIM Level 2 Certification
We are currently working towards BIM level 2 certification from the British Standards Institute PAS 11922 and also towards BIM Level 3 – which takes the principles of Level 2 on to enable interconnected digital design in a cloud-based environment.
Advantages of BIM Modelling include:
- Improved project understanding
- Reduced planning errors
- More effective resource allocation
- Reduce information loss
- Improved estimation and material takeoffs
- Integrated design model reduces clashes during contruction
