AberInnovation will provide world leading facilities and expertise for research and development in the biosciences. Set between the Cambrian Mountains and the Irish Sea, this £40.5m Campus will be a progressive environment to encourage business and academic collaboration to flourish.
AberInnovation will offer a range of high quality facilities to support innovation, enabling commercial enterprises to grow, prosper and drive economic growth in the food and drink, bioprocessing and biorefining, and agri-tech sectors throughout Wales and beyond.
The Electrical Installation included:

- Emergency Lighting self test system
- Low voltage distribution system
- PhotoVoltaic System
- Cat 6 Data cabling
- Accessible WC alarm
- Fire & Refuge alarm
- Lightning Protection
- Security systems including CCTV & Access Control
Funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government, BBSRC – part of UK Research and Innovation and Aberystwyth University, the Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus is set to be the largest development of its kind in Mid Wales in recent years.
Part of Aberystwyth University, the new campus will offer a range of high-quality facilities to support innovation, enabling the commercial enterprise to grow, prosper and drive economic growth in the food and drink, bio-processing and bio-technology sectors. Facilities will include; an analytical science centre, bio-refining centre, future food centre, seed biobank, and processing facility. It will also provide formal and informal meeting areas and office/laboratory accommodation for companies committed to innovation.
