Ken Yearsley has joined us as a construction project engineer. Ken has worked for many electrical contractors throughout the UK and worldwide and brings a wealth of experience to our company.
Highadmit would like to welcome our newest member of the Team Terry Jones. Terry is an electrical and fire & security engineer who joins us with extensive experience of the electrical industry.

St Stephens Towers No 1 and 2 – Highadmit have commenced surveys and design on another student accommodation project this time in Norwich. Work on site commences early 2017 with future completion Aug 2019.
Caradog House – Yet another student accommodation comes our way, this time closer to home, Caradog House in Cardiff has commenced with complete Aug 2017.
Kingfisher School Yeovil – Design development has commenced on a new Primary School earmarked for 2017.

Adult Award- Well done to Simon Grainger on being selected as a finalist for ECA 2016 Edmundsons ‘Adult Trainee of the the Year’ award.
UKHO Taunton – Highadmit have been appointed to develop the design in conjunction with Hydrock consultants with work commencing mid 2017.
New Offices – Highadmit have decided to open a Bristol Office and have secured a 5 year lease on a unit on the Avonmouth Industrial Estate.
For the second year in a row Highadmit have won the ‘ Western Region Supply Chain Contractor of the Year’ award from Bam Construction. All at Highadmit should be congratulated on a fantastic achievement.
Highadmit have been awarded the new primary school at Lyde Green in Bristol.
Another contract on our doorstep as Morgan Sindall award the new secondary modern school at Llantrisant – Y Pant.
A mental health unit (75 bed) is being built at Wellington and Highadmit have been awarded the electrical installation.
Over the bridge again Ilfracombe Academy is awarded to Highadmit. The project involves new build and refurbishment of retained buildings.
Another job at Longleat as Highadmit are awarded the electrical installation at the new visitors centre. The contract is on a design and build basis.

A warm welcome to Stacey Roberts who joins the admin team. Stacey joins from Sogefi Filtration Ltd where she held the position of Accounts Assistant.
A major fitout at the robotics department of UWE has been awarded to HIghadmit Projects. The contract also includes an upgrade of the site wide HV system.
SDC award an extension at the Centrepark complex Longleat. The contract is the first phase (Project Atlantis) for the swimming pool complex extension.
Another new customer for Highadmit are Bray and Slaughter of Bath award the electrical works for the Prestigious Houses at Endsleigh South Development.
Another two schools from ISG were awarded to Highadmit Projects – Oakfield Primary, Barry, and Ysgol Dewi Sant, Llantwit Major.
New customer for Highadmit as Morgan Sindall places the order for a new school on our doorstep – Llwyncrwn Primary in Beddau.
Edmondson’s Awards – Well done to 4th year apprentice, Daniel Evans, on winning the ‘Adult Apprentice of the Year 2015’ award for the South Wales region. Daniel now goes to London in July to compete for the UK awards.
Another award, this time runners up in the ‘IOD’ 2015 Awards held at the SWALEC Stadium, Cardiff. The category was for ‘Director’ in a family business.
Highadmit go west with the secured contract for the new 3 – 19 school at Llandysul with main contractor, Wilmott Dixon.
A good month for Highadmit Projects as they have been awarded, ‘Supply Chain Contractor of the Year’ award for the Western Region for BAM Construction.
The reward for delivering Admiral Insurance on time and to budget resulted in SDC awarding Highadmit Projects with a new classroom block at the prestigious private school, Kimbolton in Cambridge.
A good start to the new year with the contract award of two schools in the Bristol area – Christchurch Primary and Kings Oak Primary.
Contract Award – Highadmit Projects have been awarded the Student union Hub building at the University of the West of England in Bristol – anticipated completion September 2015.
A new theatre comes to Bridgewater College and Highadmit have been appointed to complete the design and electrical installation for the project.
Highadmit Projects have secured the Aberystwyth Hub building for the university and the Barry Island beach front refurbishment.
Contract win – Highadmit Projects were recently awarded the Ygol Gymraeg Nant Talwg, Barry, contract with ISG.

The Welsh JTL awards for apprentices sees Gareth Wyatt the former Welsh rugby international pick up 3rd place, a great achievement.
Staying with sport Highadmit’s 5 a side football team wins the BAM organised Winterbourne academy charity event despite strong opposition.
One of our adult apprentices Mr Simon Grainger “ties the knot” with Kirsten. There are several staff in attendance for their big day and Highadmit would like to wish them every success for the future.
Admiral insurance is opening in Newport and Highadmit projects have secured the electrical works for their 7 storey office complex. Completion is planned for May 2014.
Good news for future works as Highadmit are awarded Winterbourne Academy ,Bristol. This project is due to be completed in June 2014.

Good news for the future, Highadmit have recently secured projects at Taunton Academy and Marine Academy, Plymouth.
We are pleased to announce that our office manager, Mrs Julie Harris, is celebrating her silver wedding on the 16th October. All directors and staff wish her and her husband David, a happy anniversary and hope they enjoy their evening at the Miskin Manor Hotel on Saturday the 20th October.
